CLC is a non selective choir for Ladies of every ability in the Canterbury area. The choir performs a range of repertoire from Brahms to Irving Berlin and beyond. There is a relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on enjoying both the music and the act of singing with others. CLC perform on a regular basis , raising funds for charities in the Canterbury area. We have partnership and twinning links with choirs and ensembles in Dunkerque, Boulogne, Rheims and Paris. CLC will be performing at Chateau Hardelot in November 2017 and travelling to Rheims for performances in April 2018.

CLC rehearse every Thursday from 6.30 - 8pm at the Salvation Army Hall, White Horse Lane, Canterbury.

What the ladies think....                                                                                                       'Singing with with choir has been one of the best things I have done over the past few years. There are 'grumpy, days when I don't feel like going out but the minute we start breathing exercises and singing, everything else is forgotten, and I feel invigorated. Apart from the joy of singing, there are many other benefits to belonging to the Canterbury Ladies' Choir, including the friendship we all share, concerts, in and around Canterbury and in Rheims and Paris. Above everything is the ongoing experience of singing in a warm atmosphere'.

'apart from the fact that I so enjoy the variety of songs we sing ... new friendships have been formed. Singing lifts your spirits'.
